McCormack
Graduate School of Policy Studies

The McCormack Graduate School attracts one of the most diverse student populations of any academic institution. Our students range in age from recent bachelor degree graduates to senior citizens, and are from a broad spectrum of backgrounds, orientations, races and ethnicities. Just as we study policy issues affecting the world in which we live, our students come to us from around the world — from Africa to Asia to South America to Eastern Europe — offering their unique, individual perspectives and insights.
Get to know some of our MGS graduates! Like many of our alumni, the people highlighted on these pages have gone on to do important work in public affairs, public policy, conflict resolution, international affairs, and gerontology. TESTIMONIAL FROM
PUBLIC POLICY ALUMNA
"The Public Policy PhD program was a positive experience for me. The part-time option gave me the opportunity to continue in my current job working for the state Department of Environmental Protection while expanding my horizons and earning a doctorate. Many things I learned I was able to apply on the job and vice versa. Plus, I feel that I was able to keep my career going in the work world. I was avidly supported by all the faculty and staff."
