Joshua Jacks, BA University of Massachusetts
Joshua Jacks is a mediator who has been practicing in the Boston area since 1981. Mr. Jacks joined UMass Boston's Graduate Program in Dispute Resolution shortly after the program began operation in 1986. He currently serves on the program's clinical faculty as a Senior Lecturer; in this role he supervises students enrolled in the program's Mediation Internship, demonstrating mediation techniques, observing and coaching students.
Mr. Jacks has provided training to local, state and federal agencies, including the US EPA, Federal Executive Board, Massachusetts Housing Courts, and Boston area fire and police departments. He is the Director of Metropolitan Mediation Services and mediates conflicts between Medicare providers and beneficiaries in Massachusetts.
