Management of Aging Services Masters Degree Online - Program Logo

The Management of Aging Services (MAS) program at UMass Boston is a relatively new program that offers students either an MS Degree in Gerontology (discussed here) or a Graduate Certificate with a focus on the management of aging services. The concept of the MAS program is to train individuals to assume management positions in agencies that deliver services to elders.

The Masters Degree program affords professionals in the aging network the opportunity to broaden their perspectives and develop skills in policy development and analysis, program management, administration, and finance with a focus on the aging population.

The MAS program began in 2003 as a collaboration between the Gerontology Department and the Division of Corporate, Continuing and Distance Education (CCDE) at UMass Boston. Students in the Management of Aging Services Track can complete the Masters Degree online.
