Donna, a 2006-2007 Fulbright Scholar, is the Director of the Center for Social Policy and Associate Research Professor within UMass Boston's McCormack Graduate School of Policy Studies. For the past decade, Dr. Friedman has led the Center for Social Policy's team in its applied research and evaluation work in Massachusetts and elsewhere in the United States. Throughout her career, Donna has been engaged in the: management and delivery of human services; analysis of poverty-related social policies; evaluation of government and NGO social policy innovations; and implementation of models of consumer involvement in social service and social policy planning.
