Françoise Carré, Ph.D., Research Director. Her areas of expertise are: Labor economics and industrial relations; Comparative Employment systems; and low wage employment. She conducts research on work transformation and nonstandard work in the US and cross nationally. Recent projects include an evaluation of community-based staffing services (Mott Foundation) and a national study of retail employment (Russell Sage Foundation). She is an Affiliated Fellow, Center for Women and Work, Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, New Brunswick. Education: Ph.D., Urban and Regional Studies, Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
