Board Members at the Center
The Center for Women in Politics & Public Policy has three boards: our External Advisory Board, the Board of the Betty Taymor Scholarship Fund, and the Polly Logan Fund Board. These boards include a diverse group of women representing all levels of the public, private and not-for-profit sectors, including our distinguished First Lady of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Diane Patrick; Betty Taymor, who founded the Program for Women in Politics & Public Policy 40 years ago; Polly Logan, a Republican Party leader who has mentored thousands of women in politics across the state and the country; Lt. Gov. Evelyn Murphy, the first woman elected to statewide office in the Commonwealth; and Carmen Ortiz, the first woman (and Hispanic) to be selected to serve as US Attorney for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
